Visiting Sea World in Orlando, FLorida

We visited Sea World in the fall, it was lower crowds and cooler weather.

Daughter is a thrill ride crazy so I wait while they ride the Kranken, Manta and Journey to Atlantis.

Our game plan was to start with Manta but it was not running when we arrived so we headed back to Kranken.  After they had their fill of the ride we spent time looking at animal exhibits.  While at the aquarium they announced Manta was back in service, we hustled over and had a very short wait to ride.

We saw Blue Horizons and One Ocean.  We saw lots of animals and tried to ride Wild Arctic but it malfunctioned.  It was kind of an indicator of the day. I know things breakdown and I know we went in a slow fall time, but exhibits were closed and things broken.  Maybe it was just because we had too high of hopes for Sea World. I was excited to go as I had never been but I don’t think I would go back for the price I paid even though it was discounted.

Prices:  General Adult admission $92 and children 3-9 are $87. Parking is $15.  There are some discounts available. AAA discount is $6, Senior discount is $8.  Service members get a great discount here at the Waves of Honor site: http://wavesofhonor.com/?pos=1

Currently Sea World Orlando has some web exclusive ticket deals. Visit February through May 5, 2014 advance tickets are $50 for the weekdays.  Or through May 24, 2014 Buy one get one half off.  And there is the constant $10 off any day admission ticket.
