Old Stone House in Georgetown

We stumbled upon the oldest standing building in D.C. built in 1765.

The house is now managed by the National Park Service and open for walk through visits.

It was fun to check out the bedrooms and the kitchen area displaying period items.

And behind the house was a pretty lot with an English style garden was poked around.

The house is open Wednesday through Sunday 11-5pm.  Located at 3051 M Street in the Georgetown Neighborhood of Washington, DC.
