Disney’s Wonderland Tea Party for Kids

When my daughter was a bit smaller we signed her up for the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridan.  This allowed my husband and a I a little time to walk around the resort just the two of us and it gave her a chance to hang with other kids.

From Disney’s site:

Wonderland Tea Party

Disney Characters from Wonderland invite kids 4 to 12 years of age for an hour of games, stories and cupcakes.

To sip on, kids are given a special “tea” that tastes remarkably like apple juice. The pint-sized party goers also get to decorate cupcakes with sprinkles and more, make a craft to take home with them and have their photos taken with their very merry hosts.

IF your child is more outgoing sit them towards the end of the table. The characters host from either end.  A quieter child might be more comfortable in the middle seats surrounded by other kids.

Daughter had the best time ever!  She decorated her cupcake, heard jokes from the Mad Hatter and took a photo with them.  When the parents came to get their kids they were fast asleep at the table.

They surprised us when they woke up from their “nap”.  It was really cute!

We enjoyed the hour of down time to get a drink at the pool area and walk around the resort.  It was a great afternoon break for all of us. Daughter liked it so much she did the tea party again on another trip while my mother in law and I had adult tea.

Call (407)WDW-DINE to book this and it is limited to 25 children.  The cost is $40 per child.
