Oddly it seems every time we visit Chicago we end up at Corner Bakery. I think its their variety of locations! They are a local chain with breakfast and lunch options like soup and sandwiches. For breakfast I love their berry parfaits!
This time we hit the one at Michigan Ave near Wacker, right by our hotel. We wanted a short break off our feet before meeting my cousins out at Navy Pier.
Being February I was craving some soup to warm up. After our Eataly breakfast I was not too hungry but just wanted comfort food. The breadbowl was very filling and really hit the spot! The chili is not too spicy, just a great combo!
Daughter had a cup of potato soup as she was not as hungry either. We took it to go back to our hotel with the intent of kicking off our shoes and being lazy back at the room.
