On our last trip to Chicago we met up with my cousins family, including their two young daughters. After some time on Navy Pier they had the suggestion to visit Maggie Daley Park. It was a nice sunny day so we made the walk along the lake shore to the park.
I expected a park with some swings, a slide and lots of toddlers. I was wrong! Maggie Daley Park was as much fun for the teenagers as it was for the little kids. Adults were flying down the two story slides along with the kids.
There are separate younger kid areas, I think it was for ages 5 and under. They had a boat to play on and some smaller toys.
The location is great! We were right in Millennium Park near the lake. Very close to our hotel and the train station.
Daughter said she wants to go back with some of her friends to hang out at the park. We spent a long time watching adults and children fly off the slides in the snow. Cheap entertainment!
