I had wanted to dine at the Olde Pink House on our prior trip but Garibaldi won out. We did after dining spend a little time in the basement bar which was fun. This trip I was going to eat here, it was the first reservation I made!
Saturday at 6:45 we arrived for our 7pm reservation and were quickly seated upstairs. I did not realize how large the Pink House was!
Daughter spent the trip enjoying Shirley Temples and tonight was no exception.
Our waitress was quick and efficient. We never ran out of drinks and our food came at the right pace for a nice dinner.
Daughter started with Oysters…
I was thinking from the beginning I would try the Chicken Pot Pie but at the end I went with the Pecan Chicken with Sweet Potato. I cannot get sweet potatoes like that in the Midwest! I can skip Collard Greens they are not my favorite but I did try this batch.
Daughter had the Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops over Fettuccine.
We were too stuffed to try dessert here. They encourage you to look around at the house after dinner. We did look at a couple of rooms and got turned around having to ask for directions on how to exit. Our meal was really good and we would defiantly dine at the Olde Pink House again! If you want to dine for dinner here make sure you make reservations on Open Table well in advance.
