I received an email that some of my Birch Box points were going to expire. Oh the horror! I had looked a couple at times at Birch Box items but was not that excited about any one item that I wanted to use my points on. Ughhh!
They had some suggestions for me and one of them was a Philosophy item. Hmmm, I do like some of their products. I did a search that came up with 29 Philosophy items, most of them were for face use. I needed a new night cream, my samples I had received over the months from Target and Walmart boxes were running low. So I cashed in 500 points to take $50 off Philosophy Miracle Worker Overnight. Birch Box sells it for $68.
I have been on and off the fence about Birch Box for the last few months. This month was a better box for me so I will stay for another month.
I have been on the fence about Birch Box lately….
This was my second glossy box and I have to say I am liking their boxes almost more than Birchbox!
The look is higher end than Birchbox and the items seem to be larger also. But it also costs more a month at $21.
This box had a nail color, a full size lipstick that retails for $20, a hairspray, face cleanser and a mud cleanser.
I feel like I need to pick one and go with one subscription box at this point, two is getting to be a bit much. Waiting to see what Birchbox has in it this month now.
This months Birchbox was very pretty. I loved the floral spring design!
I had made a few tweaks to my profile to try and change my sample selection. Seemed to have worked well for this box.
I order Birchbox to try new items and to have a bunch of travel sized items on hand. Plus I like getting happy mail, not just magazines and bills.
I was very happy with this Birchbox. A great mascara, perfume, shampoo, hair oil and cheek shimmer.
Daughter grabbed the cheek shimmer and kept that item. The perfume is not my favorite but its nice to try something different.
Today my December Birchbox arrived in the mail. I was lucky enough to sign up online for the sample box items i thought I would enjoy. i was very happy to say the least!
I am looking forward to trying the hair plump and the red nail polish for Christmas.
I am a little behind on my posting… I received my November Birch Box and never showed what it contained.
Daughter grabbed the large eye pencil before I could even look at the color. I received coconut chips, body butter, hair styling oil, eau de perfum and face moister tint. Less excited about this box but the eye pencil found a good home.
Have you heard of Birchbox? I stumbled on it on another blog and thought this would be great for when I travel!!!!! And having a daughter who loves face, hair and makeup products doesn’t hurt either.
