We took the Disney Dream back to Nassau in the Bahamas for a family cruise.
Generally here we do not bother with an excursion. The boat dock is right in the downtown area so we explore on our own.
These Junkanoo floats are in the dock exit area.
And we do the tourist shopping for gifts for our house sitter at Senor Frogs. Also we walk through the straw market for a little bit until it gets to be too much.
Once our family cries “Lets go back!” we head back to a quiet empty ship. If we did not eat lunch on the island we grab some lunch and hit the mostly empty aqua duck!
And take in the view of the other empty ships and town area.
And talk about saving up enough money to retire on an island even if its just a little place like this one.
As you could tell by the photos since we travel in the fall we usually get a quick rain shower on our visit. So far its happened every trip to Nassau.
How lovely — what a great adventure.
Thanks for stopping by!
